Newly introduced into the Fox range to provide an inexpensive entrylevel floor-standing machine, the F28-190 350W 10” bandsaw is based on a tried, tested and proven design. Featuring a 100mm cutting depth capacity with a throat depth of 245mm, the operator can get to grips with most joinery projects.
A torsion resistant welded steel frame combined with a grey cast iron table lends significant stability and accuracy to this machine. Blade tension and tracking adjustment can be rapidly set up for a precision, hassle-free cutting performance. Standard delivery includes a toe-andheel locking rip fence, a sliding mitre fence for angled cuts.

An uncompromising insistence on quality, functionality andaffordability has seen Fox continue their programme of upgrade andreplacement. The F28-193 is a further product of this development. Powered by a 550W (3/4hp) induction motor, the blade has noload speeds of 1400 and 1700rpm. A cutting height of l60mm (6 1/4”) and a throat capacity of 300mm (12”) make this machine a highly versatile companion in the workshop. As with all Fox bandsaws, the F28-193 12” bandsaw comes standard with a rip fence and mitre fence for angled cuts. A pressed steel legstand also features, allowing the bandsaw to be mounted for freestanding operation. in summary, a logical within budget proposition for every craftsman and enthusiast.

14” Heavy Duty Band Saw An uprated brother to the F28-193, it shares in principle the same features albeit at an increased capacity. Powered by a 1500W (2hp) Industrial motor, the F28-194 demonstrates a spirited performance in the professional workshop. Fox’s passionate attention to competence and capacity once again shines through, with a number of substantial specifications on offer here: A cutting depth of 235mm (9”), a throat depth of 345mm (13 1/2”)and a blade width capacity of up to 37mm (1 1/2”).

Fox’s flagship F28-195 2200W (3hp) 18” heavy duty bandsaw excels with its price to performance ratio. An impressive specification, complimented by a host of practical extras, make this machine the obvious choice when selecting a large capacity, operator-friendly saw. Weighing 162kg and constructed from a herculean welded steel frame for torsion-free operation, the F28-195 is massively stable in use. A cast iron table measuring 630 x 480mm tilts through an angle range of -10° to +45° to perform bevel cuts, and when used in conjunction with the mitre fence, also facilitates compound angles. Extras include a blade tension guide where tension can be simply set to correspond with the blade width, a blade tracking window for exact control of the blade running and two 100mm dust ports for optimalextraction performance.
