The Fox Tools F11-951 pillar drill is the product of unconventional engineering flair. Steering away from run of the mill designs, Fox have launched a highly refined, exceptionally functional machine. With a powerful 350W motor, five running speeds from 580 up to 2650rpm, drilling depth micro-adjustment via a conveniently positioned thumbwheel, a cast iron table that both tilts to 45o and swivels through 360o, as well as featuring adjustable extension wings, the F11-951 will prove an extremely versatile companion in the workshop. A 13mm engineering keyless chuck utilises the industry standard morse taper two (MT2) system and can be simply removed for the use of tapered shank drill bits. In preference to the stereotype light steel bar handwheel so commonly used for drill depth regulation, Fox have opted for a robust cast wheel with three large knobs offering optimum control and smooth, judderless feeds. Additional features include an integral drill storage tray in the cast base, a laser light and an extendable chuck guard. Also supplied with a drill press vice.

Similar in design to the Fox F11-951, the F11-991 features a higher torque 500W motor and a l6mm capacity chuck to accommodate more demanding applications. A 60mm diameter column adds additional stability to the drill, eliminating flexing and vibration transfer. A tilting cast iron table runs on a rack & pinion system and is operated by a large handwheel. Like the F11-951, it also tilts in both directions through to 45o, features milled slots for the securing of a drill press, and two extension wings for supplementary support. A laser light, an extendable chuck guard and drill storage are further highlights of this machine. A range of 5 speeds from 700 up to 2600rpm offers excellent drilling versatility for a wide range of materials and applications. Also supplied with a drill press vice.

FOX TOOLS F70-201 17" FLOOR STANDING PILLAR DRILL

Newly incorporated into their range to offer an industrial rated option, the F70-201 17" floor standing pillar drill satisfies the needs of larger workshops. Standing 1700mm high, it features a potent 1100W motor, with a variable speed range from 280 - 2600 rpm. Running speeds are infinitely regulated via an adjustment lever located on the left side of the machine for quick and simple operation. A MT3 tool holder carries a standard 16mm keyed chuck or alternatively accepts morse taper drill bits. Stated drilling capacities are upto 25mm diameter, with a maximum spindle travel of 80mm. Like all other Fox pillar drills, the F70-201 comes standard with a robust drill feed hand wheel for optimum feed control.
